I am a 17-year-old senior at Grovetown High School. I cannot wait to start my next chapter in life at Augusta University. I want to pursue a career in Physical Therapy for special-needs children. I would love to pursue this career field because children always have a good place in my heart. I also want to be an influence in someone else's life.
I just want to say thank you to the Be The Change Foundation for being the change in my life. I cannot wait to start the rest of my journey. Thank you once again!
Upon graduation, I plan on attending Augusta University as a Computer Science major with a minor in Criminal Justice. One of my short-term life goals would be to maintain a 3.7-4.0 GPA while obtaining my doctorate degree. My long-term goals would include using my skills to graduate and become an analyst for any government-related agency or becoming a software developer for any major private company (Google, Apple, etc.) In the near future, I also plan on opening my own Girls Who Code sector so that I am able to educate females and younger students in general about the uniquness and creativity that exists within coding.
I hope to serve as a role model and a leader for anyone and everyone that I will and already have encountered in my life. I hope that people are able to see me as a symbol for hope and that anything is possible. Being selected for the Be The Change scholarship will not only be helpful financially, but it has already encouraged me to take an even greater look within our community and find ways to be the change and improve it.
